biography

I am married to my beautiful wife Jennette and together we have three wonderful children – Madeleine (6), Emily (3) and Ryan (1). We moved to the Merwood Park section in the Third Ward of Haverford Township in 2011. I grew up in Havertown with my younger brother (Patrick) and sister (Julie) on Brookline Blvd. in a house my parents live in to this day.

My parents were teachers and made numerous sacrifices for the benefit of my family, instilling in me strong values and the value of a great community. While they prioritized education above all, as children we were thrilled Havertown provided ample opportunity for fun. I played soccer for Haverford Township, basketball for Annunciation, and baseball at Brookline. My wonderful childhood in Havertown was filled with sports, education and family.

My education continued at St. Joe's Prep which instilled in me the desire to be a man for others, as well as an understanding of the value in public service. I then attended Loyola University Chicago for my undergraduate and law degree. After 7 years in Chicago, I moved home to take the bar exam and begin my career. It was during this time that I met Jennette, who went to Villanova University.

My first job out of law school was at the District Attorney’s Office in Montgomery County. My time as an Assistant District Attorney was formative and I cherished my time in public service to the community. However, when Jennette and I planned to get married and start a family, I moved to the private sector. I now work as litigation counsel for a Fortune 100 company. However, my time as an Assistant District Attorney has never left me; it has shaped me into a person who wants to make a difference in our community.

I believe in Havertown and know from experience it is a special place. I also believe that Haverford Township has significant untapped potential based on our schools, our location and most importantly our residents. Working together through big picture thinking, we can make this exceptional place even more special. I believe I have something to offer and that is why I am running to be township commissioner in the Third Ward. I look forward to meeting my neighbors between now and November in hopes that you see our hometown the same way I do.
